About our club

The city of Birmingham Indoor Bowls Club was formed in 1947 but did not find a home until 1985 when it took up residence at the Stirchley Indoor Bowls Centre, Pershore Road, Birmingham. This was originally a WH Smith Do-it-all converted into an Indoor Bowls and community centre.

The club is now located at Billesley Common and is managed as a Private Club by an elected Committee and additional volunteers.

From September 2025, Non-Members, who are bowlers, are welcome to book rinks on the pay and play sessions, please call for information.  Should you just wish to visit the Centre please call and arrange a mutually convenient time to view our facilities.

If the office is unmanned, the answer phone for 0121 444 8325 is continually monitored so please leave a message, or send an email, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
